Job summary

S S Engineers in Pune, Maharashtra, is seeking an entry-level CNC/VMC trainee to learn and operate VMC machines under expert guidance. The role involves loading/unloading, basic tool setting, and program execution to meet specifications.

Freshers welcome; training will cover machine operation, measurements with Vernier Calipers and Micrometers, and adherence to 5S and safety standards in a manufacturing environment. Shift work may be required.

Role & responsibilities:

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: 10th, 12th PASS, ITI, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: Freshers are welcome; prior CNC/VMC experience is not mandatory.
• Basic understanding of mechanical engineering and machining processes is preferred.
• Willingness to learn VMC machine operation, tool setting, and CNC programming.
• Basic knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper and Micrometer is an advantage.
• Should be disciplined, punctual, hardworking, and quality-conscious.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and in shifts, if required.
