Job summary

Qualifications

• CNC and VMC machining setup, calibration, and safe handling.
• Machining and milling to meet dimensional tolerances.
• Quality control using measuring instruments and maintaining documentation.
• General machinery knowledge including basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or Machinist or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with CNC/VMC in manufacturing is beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and follow work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Role Description

Responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings, selecting appropriate tools, adjusting machine settings, and performing basic preventive maintenance. The operator will inspect finished parts for quality, record production data, and collaborate with supervisors and other team members to ensure safe, efficient workflow and minimal downtime. Adherence to safety standards and housekeeping practices in the machining area is essential.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Machine Operation skills, including setup, calibration, and safe handling of CNC and VMC machinery.
• Candidates should possess Machining and Milling skills for producing precision components and meeting dimensional tolerances.
• Candidates should possess Quality Control skills for inspecting parts, using measuring instruments (e.g., vernier calipers, micrometers), and maintaining documentation.
• Candidates should possess general Machinery knowledge, including basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and understanding of production workflows.
• Relevant technical qualification (ITI, Diploma, or equivalent) in Mechanical, Fitter, Machinist, or related trade is preferred.
• Experience working with CNC/VMC machines in a manufacturing environment is highly beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and follow work instructions accurately.
