Job summary

Florida Hometex in Punjab, Doraha invites applications for a storekeeper role focused on inventory management and supervision. You will receive, inspect, and issue materials, and maintain stock records to ensure material availability.

You will supervise warehouse staff, coordinate with purchasing, production, dispatch and accounts, and conduct regular stock verification and audits while upholding safety and housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming materials or goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
• Issue materials to production or other departments as per requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory.
• Organize and store materials systematically for easy identification and retrieval.
• Supervise storekeepers, helpers, or warehouse staff and assign daily tasks.
• Prepare and maintain documents such as goods receipt notes, issue slips, challans, and stock registers.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, safety, and security of the store area.
• Coordinate with the purchase, production, dispatch, and accounts departments for smooth operations.
• Follow company policies, inventory procedures, and safety regulations.
• Assist during internal and external stock audits.
• Primarily involves inventory management and supervision.
• Requires attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Involves both office-based documentation and physical movement within the store or warehouse.
• May require standing, walking, lifting light materials, and coordinating with multiple departments.
• Focuses on maintaining uninterrupted material availability while preventing stock loss or damage.
