Job summary

Mechzephyr Engineering in Bengaluru is seeking a hands-on store and logistics coordinator to manage day-to-day operations, receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and finished goods, and maintain accurate inventory ledgers and bin cards.

You will coordinate with Quality for material inspection, issue materials to production per requisitions, plan dispatches, prepare packing lists and shipping documents, and supervise staff while ensuring safe storage, labeling, and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of inventory and store management practices.
• Proficient with MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate with multiple departments.
• Attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day store and logistics operations to ensure smooth workflow.
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and finished goods.
• Coordinate with Quality for incoming material inspection and clearance.
• Issue materials to production as per authorized material requisitions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records (GRN, stock in/out, bin cards, balance).
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, preservation, and safety of materials.
• Plan and coordinate dispatch of finished goods as per delivery schedules.
• Prepare and verify logistics and shipping documents (invoice, packing list, e‑way bill, LR, etc.).
• Coordinate with transporters and logistics service providers for timely delivery.
