• Coordinate with Quality Department for inspection and approval of incoming materials

• Issue materials to production against authorized requisitions
• Update receipts, issues, returns and stock transfers in ERP on time
• Maintain stock registers and accuracy of physical inventory
• Conduct periodic stock verification and investigate discrepancies
• Monitor stock levels and inform replenishment requirements

Job description

1. Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery challans.
2. Coordinate with the Quality Department for inspection and approval of incoming materials, wherever applicable.
3. Prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and other material receipt documentation.
4. Ensure proper storage, identification, labeling, and preservation of materials to prevent damage and deterioration.
5. Issue materials to production and other departments against duly authorized material requisitions.
6. Update material receipts, issues, returns, and stock transfers in the ERP system accurately and on time.
7. Maintain stock registers and ensure the accuracy of physical inventory against system records.
8. Conduct periodic physical stock verification and investigate inventory discrepancies.
9. Monitor minimum, maximum, and reorder stock levels and inform the concerned department about replenishment requirements.
