Job summary

Parko Hardware is seeking a diligent store/materials handler responsible for receiving, inspecting, and recording materials. You will issue items to production, maintain stock records, and ensure traceability while coordinating with Purchase, Quality, and Accounts departments.

The role emphasizes accurate GRN creation, proper labeling, and adherence to 5S standards, with a focus on maintaining stock accuracy and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify quantity, specifications, and documents against Purchase Orders and invoices.
• Conduct proper physical inspection and coordinate with Quality/Production departments for material verification.
• Prepare and maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and other required store documents.
• Ensure proper identification, labeling, and systematic storage of materials.
• Issue materials to production and other departments against authorized material requisitions.
• Maintain accurate stock records, bin cards, and inventory registers.
• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and inform the concerned department about material shortages.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO principles wherever applicable.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S standards in the store area.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of materials to prevent damage, loss, or deterioration.
• Maintain records of inward, outward, rejected, returned, and excess materials.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, and Accounts departments for material-related issues.
• Support periodic and annual stock audits and provide required records.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure traceability of materials
