Job summary

Pinnacle Lithium Power is seeking field engineers to install and commission lithium-ion battery packs and energy storage systems at client sites.

You will diagnose faults via remote monitoring or on-site checks, analyze BMS logs, and test with diagnostic tools to ensure system health and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and commissioning lithium-ion battery packs at client sites.
• Ability to read BMS logs and diagnose thermal or voltage issues.
• Familiar with high‑voltage safety protocols and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Set up systems: Install and commission lithium-ion battery packs and energy storage systems at client locations.
• Integrate hardware: Connect batteries with inverters, chargers, and external electrical setups safely.
• Diagnostics: Inspect faults and identify root causes via remote monitoring or on-site checks.
• Analyze data: Read BMS logs to spot voltage drops, thermal issues, or cell imbalances.
• Test performance: Use multimeters, load banks, and insulation testers to measure capacity and health.
• Repair and maintenance: Fix or supervise replacement of faulty modules, wiring, or BMS units; perform preventive checks.
• Follow safety protocols: Adhere to high-voltage safety rules and wear proper PPE.
• Reporting and coordination: Log service records and share field data with R&D and QA.

Installation and Commissioning

• Set up systems: Install and commission lithium-ion battery packs and energy storage systems at client locations.
• Integrate hardware: Connect batteries with inverters, chargers, and external electrical setups safely.

Diagnostics and Troubleshooting

• Inspect faults: Find root causes of system failures through remote software monitoring or direct on-site checks.
• Analyze data: Read and interpret logs from the Battery Management System (BMS) to spot voltage drops, thermal issues, or cell imbalances.
• Test performance: Use diagnostic tools like multimeters, load banks, and insulation testers to measure capacity and health

Repair and Maintenance

• Perform repairs: Fix or supervise the replacement of faulty modules, wiring, or BMS units.
• Preventive checks: Conduct routine health check-ups and scheduled maintenance to prolong battery life.
• Follow safety protocols: Adhere strictly to high-voltage safety rules and wear proper gear to avoid electrical hazards

Reporting and Coordination

• Log service records: Update service tickets, maintenance logs, and reports using internal software or ticketing desks.
• Collaborate with teams: Share field failure data with research and development (R&D) and quality assurance teams to improve future designs.
