Job summary

Asian Cinemas in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage end-to-end purchasing for ongoing and upcoming projects. You will source civil, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, interior, furniture, fixtures, and other project materials while reviewing BOQs and drawings.

Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and contractors to ensure timely delivery and cost control. Build supplier networks, negotiate favorable terms, and lead a procurement team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement.
• Experience in both Project Procurement and Retail Purchasing preferred.
• Proven experience in handling high‑value procurement and vendor negotiations.
• Graduate in Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
• MBA / PG Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Materials Management will be an added advantage.
• Ability to independently manage procurement operations and lead a purchase team.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end procurement for ongoing and upcoming projects.

• Negotiate competitive rates, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Manage purchase orders, work orders, and procurement contracts.
• Monitor project procurement budgets and control material costs.
• Manage purchasing activities for retail stores and business operations.
• Source products, merchandise, consumables, fixtures, and operational materials.
• Identify suitable vendors, manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, credit terms, discounts, and bulk purchase agreements.
• Ensure product availability and timely replenishment.
• Monitor stock levels, inventory movement, and reorder requirements.
• Coordinate with retail operations, warehouse, and store management teams.
• Analyze purchase trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
