Job summary

New India Global Ecoinfra Pvt. ltd. (NIGEPL) in Greater Noida, India, seeks a Senior Manager SCM & Procurement to lead end-to-end procurement for construction and infrastructure projects.

You will oversee procurement, vendor management, inventory, and banking documentation for multiple sites. The role requires strong commercial negotiation, procurement planning, cost control and vendor coordination skills, with experience in EPC/infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end procurement for construction materials, equipment and project requirements.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills with ability to manage PO/WOs and service agreements.
• Proficient in inventory control, stock reconciliation and periodic audits.
• Experience with banking documentation including LC/BG and vendor bill processing.

Role & responsibilities

1. Procurement & Supply Chain Management

• Manage end-to-end procurement of construction materials, equipment, machinery and project requirements.
• Handle RFQs, quotations, comparative statements, purchase orders and vendor negotiations.
• Ensure timely procurement, dispatch and delivery of materials across multiple project locations.
• Develop procurement schedules based on project requirements and budgets.
• Optimise procurement costs and maintain effective supply chain operations.

2. Vendor Management & Work Orders

• Identify, evaluate and finalise suppliers, contractors and service vendors.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders (POs), work orders (WOs) and service agreements.
• Negotiate rates, credit periods, payment terms and commercial conditions.
• Maintain vendor performance records and resolve supply-related disputes.

3. Stores & Inventory Management

• Supervise central stores and project-site stores.
• Monitor material inward/outward records, GRNs, stock registers and material reconciliation.
• Maintain minimum stock levels and prevent excess inventory, shortages and wastage.
• Conduct periodic physical stock verification and inventory audits.

4. Vendor Billing & Accounts Coordination

• Verify vendor invoices against POs, work orders, GRNs and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with Accounts for timely bill booking in Tally/ERP.
• Manage vendor ledger reconciliations, outstanding statements and payment clearances.
• Monitor advances, debit notes, credit notes and payment adjustments.

5. Banking, LC & Commercial Operations

• Coordinate with banks and Finance teams for Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG) and related documentation.
• Handle LC documentation, amendments, validity tracking and payment coordination.
• Negotiate vendor credit facilities and commercial payment terms.
• Monitor procurement-related financial commitments and cash flow requirements.

6. MIS & Management Reporting

• Prepare procurement MIS, vendor outstanding reports, stock reports and material consumption statements.
• Monitor project-wise procurement budgets, cost variations and pending orders.
• Submit regular reports to management on procurement, inventory, vendor payments and supply chain performance.

Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Manager SCM & Procurement to independently manage end-to-end supply chain operations, procurement, vendor management, stores, work orders, material logistics, bill booking and banking documentation for multiple construction and infrastructure projects.

The candidate must have strong experience in Construction / EPC / Infrastructure projects, with excellent commercial negotiation, procurement planning, cost control and vendor coordination skills.
