Job summary

Klenzaids Contamination Control Private Limited in Mumbai seeks an experienced Head of Procurement and Logistics to lead strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, contract management, and ERP/SAP implementations across multiple locations.

You will oversee budget alignment, material planning, logistics optimization, compliance with GST and regulatory norms, and mentor teams to drive continuous improvement and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• 5+ leadership experience in procurement and logistics.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and understanding of EXIM regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing and procurement policies.
• Lead vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
• Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, components, and services.
• Monitor market trends and pricing to optimize cost and quality.
• Oversee purchase order processing and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Collaborate with finance and production teams for budget alignment and material planning.
• Plan and manage inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation and warehousing.
• Optimize logistics costs while ensuring timely and damage-free deliveries.
• Implement and manage ERP/SAP systems for tracking and dispatch.
• Coordinate with transporters, customs, and regulatory bodies for smooth operations.
• Ensure statutory compliance (GST, RTO, pollution control, etc.).
• Lead and mentor procurement and logistics teams across locations.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with production, quality, and finance departments.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement and logistics processes.
• Monitor KPIs such as cost savings, delivery timelines, inventory turnover, and vendor performance.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks including delays, shortages, and compliance issues.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or Business (MBA preferred).
• 20 plus years of experience in procurement and logistics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Knowledge of customs, EXIM regulations, and statutory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
