Job summary

SAIPRASHANTH ENGINEERING & INFRASTRUCTURE PRIVATE LIMITED in Makthal, Narayanpet District, Telangana, seeks a Project Engineer / Senior Civil Engineer with 8+ years of experience to lead a major sports complex construction project.

You will manage end-to-end construction activities, read complex drawings, plan daily to monthly work, and coordinate with subcontractors, vendors and the client. On-site responsibilities include quality control, material management and timely procurement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of civil/building construction experience.
• Hands-on site execution and project management expertise.
• Able to independently manage multiple fronts and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of BOQ, measurements, billing, material planning and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end construction activities from earthwork to handover.
• Read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings and ensure execution per drawings.
• Prepare and monitor daily, weekly and monthly work plans.
• Manage manpower, materials, machinery, equipment and subcontractors.
• Prepare 7-day material and resource plans and ensure timely procurement.
• Coordinate with suppliers/vendors for local procurement.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Project Engineer / Senior Civil Engineer with 8+ years of experience to manage the execution of a large-scale Sports Complex project at Makthal, Narayanpet District, Telangana.

The project involves 1,000+ BOQ items, with major works covering end-to-end building construction including earthwork, foundations, RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, painting, external development and sports facilities.

The candidate will be responsible for independent site management, planning, resource management, procurement, subcontractor coordination, measurements, billing, quality control and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end construction activities from earthwork to finishing and handover.
• Read and understand architectural, structural and MEP drawings and ensure execution as per drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and monitor daily, weekly and monthly work plans.
• Manage manpower, materials, machinery, equipment and subcontractors.
• Prepare 7-day material and resource requirements and ensure timely procurement.
• Manage local procurement and coordinate with suppliers/vendors.
• Monitor cement, steel, sand, aggregate, bricks, blocks and other material consumption and stock.
• Prepare and check BBS, quantity estimates and material requirements.
• Carry out and verify site measurements using Auto Level / surveying equipment.
• Monitor quality of civil and finishing works and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Coordinate with client, consultants, subcontractors, vendors and other agencies.
• Measure and verify subcontractor work and bills.
• Prepare and support client measurements, RA Bills and billing documentation.
• Track BOQ quantities, executed quantities and balance quantities.
• Identify extra items, variations, omissions, recoverable quantities and potential commercial losses.
• Monitor material wastage and ensure proper material utilization.
• Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR), material statements, labour reports, equipment reports and other site records.
• Prepare and maintain project-related Excel sheets, MIS reports, trackers and documentation.
• Monitor project progress against planned targets and take corrective action for delays.
• Coordinate civil works with electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting and sports facility works.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, safety practices and systematic execution at site.
• Assist management in maintaining cost, time and commercial control over the project.
• Maintain proper records for project completion, billing and final handover.
