Job summary

Tata Technologies Ltd. is seeking a PMO/Program Management professional to support automotive project teams in coordination, governance, and program delivery.

The role requires close collaboration with vehicle program leaders, module leaders, and lead engineers to align requirements and schedules. The candidate will handle release planning, BOM and cost alignment, and cross-functional activity tracking, while maintaining documents and ensuring adherence to governance processes.

Qualifications

• 610 years of relevant experience in PMO / Project or Program Management.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and the Engineering/PMO team in project execution and coordination.
• Work closely with Full Vehicle Program Leaders, Module Leaders, and Lead Engineers to understand technical and program requirements.
• Manage release planning, commodity timing, and program delivery activities.
• Track and report release status at project gateways.
• Maintain project schedules, trackers, reports, and other project documentation.
• Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
• Coordinate project meetings, including agendas, action tracking, and meeting minutes.
• Ensure adherence to defined project governance processes.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Sourcing.
• Support BOM alignment and cost alignment activities.
• Support commodity planning and sourcing activities.
• Assist with onboarding of new project team members.

Scope of Role

The PMO will support automotive project teams in ensuring smooth project coordination, documentation, governance, and program delivery. The role requires close coordination with Full Vehicle Program Leaders, Module Leaders, Lead Engineers, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and the Engineering/PMO team in project execution and coordination.

Required Skills & Experience

• 610 years of relevant experience in PMO / Project or Program Management.
• Automotive industry experience with an OEM, Tier 1, or Tier 2 supplier is essential.
• Good knowledge of automotive project/program management processes.
• Experience in Release Planning, Gateway Management, and Commodity Planning.
• Experience with BOM and Cost Alignment.
• Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, PULSE, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, coordination, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a global, multi-site project environment.
• Exposure to automotive quality standards.
• Experience working with European customers and willingness to travel as required.
• Experience in release planning for Gateway (GW) support will be an added advantage.
