Job summary

Tata AutoComp Systems Limited is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to drive end-to-end automotive programs. You will coordinate with customer, engineering, manufacturing, quality, and finance teams to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.

The role requires governance setup, milestone tracking, and proactive risk mitigation to ensure production readiness. You will lead multiple programs through PMO frameworks, monitor KPIs, and enforce APQP/PPAP and stage-gate processes while coordinating

Qualifications

• 12–14 years of experience in automotive industry.
• Strong experience in program/project management.
• Hands-on on powertrain, transmission, or driveline systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end program execution within QCD targets with cross-functional coordination with customer, engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchase and finance teams.
• Establish program governance, timelines, and milestone tracking mechanisms.
• Ensure smooth execution from development to production readiness.
• Manage stakeholder communication, including leadership and customer updates.
• Identify risks proactively and drive mitigation plans.
• Oversee engineering changes across functions and ensure implementation.
• Support plant readiness, production ramp-up, and operational stabilization.
• Drive structured problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage multiple programs through PMO frameworks and monitor KPIs.
• Ensure adherence to APQP, PPAP, and stage-gate processes.
• Coordinate with plant teams for manufacturing and launch readiness.
• Maintain documentation, reporting and compliance.
• Facilitate alignment across cross-functional and cross-location teams.
