Job summary

Independent Recruitment Consultant (freelancer) in Chennai seeks an experienced overseas education counsellor to guide students on programs, universities, and visa options.

You will handle leads via calls, WhatsApp and walk-ins, conduct regular follow-ups, assess profiles, and assist with applications, admissions and coordination. Target is 2–4 conversions monthly and building strong student relationships.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in overseas education counselling / study abroad / student recruitment.
• Strong communication, counselling, negotiation and convincing skills.
• Experience in cold calling, lead generation, follow-ups and lead conversion.
• Knowledge of international universities, courses, admissions and visa processes.
• Target-oriented with strong customer-handling and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
