1. JOB PURPOSE

The Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall management, supervision and smooth execution of security and manpower contracts awarded to the Company by Government Departments, PSUs, Banks and other government organizations.
The position will be responsible for ensuring that all deployed security guards, supervisors, field officers and manpower personnel are deployed as per contractual requirements and that operations are carried out in accordance with the Work Order, Agreement, Tender Conditions, SLA, statutory requirements and instructions of the client.
The Operations Manager will act as the key coordination point between the Company's management, field officers, supervisors, deployed manpower and government clients, ensuring operational continuity, proper documentation, timely resolution of grievances and effective client relationship management.

2. Experience

The candidate should be capable of working under pressure and handling multiple locations simultaneously.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Preference to candidates having experience in security services, manpower outsourcing, facility management or contract labour operations.
• Experience in handling Government/PSU/Bank contracts will be strongly preferred.

3. PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

Preference may be given to candidates who have previously worked as:

• Operations Manager Security Agency
• Area Manager Security Services
• Regional Operations Manager
• Ex-Servicemen with relevant managerial/operations experience

4. Overall Operations Management

1. Plan, organize and control the day-to-day operations of all security and manpower contracts handled by the Company.
2. Ensure deployment of guards, supervisors, field officers and other manpower strictly as per work order and client requirement:
3. Maintain proper coordination between Head Office and field operations.
4. Ensure that all instructions issued by clients are properly communicated to field officers, supervisors and deployed personnel.
5. The Operations Manager will directly supervise and monitor the performance of Field Officers and Field Supervisors.
6. Allocate sites/locations to Field Officers and Supervisors according to geographical area and workload.
7. Define clear responsibilities and reporting mechanisms for Field Officers and Supervisors.
8. Conduct regular meetings with Field Officers/Supervisors for smooth working.
9. Ensure that Field Officers conduct regular physical inspections of deployed sites.
10. Obtain regular inspection reports from Field Officers/Supervisors.
11. Ensure that operational problems are not kept pending at the field level and are escalated within the prescribed time.
12. The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring that complete documentation of every deployed employee is maintained and updated.
13. Since the Company primarily provides services to Government Organizations, the Operations Manager will be responsible for maintaining professional and effective coordination with client representatives.
14. Understand and implement client instructions within the scope of the contract.
15. Attend meetings with clients whenever required.
16. Ensure timely response to client emails, letters, notices and instructions.
17. Receive and coordinate resolution of complaints received from Government clients.
18. Coordinate with the Tender/Compliance team regarding operational conditions contained in tender documents.
19. The Operations Manager will be responsible for coordinating with clients for timely processing and release of operational invoices/payments and Escalate long-pending receivables to senior management.

5. OVERALL ACCOUNTABILITY

The Operations Manager will be overall accountable for the smooth, uninterrupted and compliant execution of the Company's security and manpower contracts.
