The Senior Manager Security Operations is responsible for managing and monitoring security operations across assigned client sites. The role ensures effective manpower deployment, site discipline, training, compliance, client satisfaction, and adherence to company and client standards. The Senior Manager will coordinate with site teams and support functions to ensure smooth and efficient security service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1.Site Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day security operations across all assigned client sites.
- Ensure security personnel are deployed as per the approved manpower requirements and contractual obligations.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure operational standards are maintained.
- Ensure proper implementation of SOPs, PSIs, post orders, and client-specific instructions.
- Identify operational gaps and ensure timely corrective action.
2. Client Coordination
- Maintain regular communication with client representatives regarding day-to-day security operations.
- Attend client meetings and operational review meetings as required.
- Address client complaints, concerns, and operational requirements promptly.
- Ensure client instructions are communicated to the site team and implemented effectively.
- Follow up on client feedback and ensure timely closure of action points.
- Support client audits, inspections, and operational reviews.
3. Training & Development
- Ensure all security personnel receive proper induction and site-specific training before deployment.
- Conduct and monitor refresher training, toolbox talks, emergency response training, fire safety training, and other required programs.
- Ensure training is conducted as per the approved training calendar.
- Identify skill and knowledge gaps among security personnel and arrange appropriate training.
- Monitor mandatory training requirements such as PSARA, fire safety, first aid, emergency response, access control, and evacuation procedures, as applicable.
- Ensure training attendance, assessment records, and training trackers are properly maintained.
- Conduct periodic awareness sessions on discipline, grooming, customer service, security procedures, and emergency handling.
- Coordinate with the Training team for specialized and client-specific training programs.
4. Site Inspection & Quality Control
- Conduct regular announced and unannounced site inspections.
- Check security posts, access control, visitor management, patrolling, CCTV monitoring, key management, and other security activities.
- Verify uniform, grooming, ID cards, equipment, and communication devices.
- Identify deviations from SOPs and client requirements and ensure corrective action.
- Prepare site inspection reports and follow up until observations are closed.
- Monitor the quality of security services and continuously improve operational standards.
5. Equipment & Asset Management
- Ensure security equipment is available and maintained at all sites.
- Monitor the issue and usage of walkie-talkies, torches, metal detectors, access-control equipment, and other security assets.
- Ensure proper maintenance and accountability of company and client assets.
- Report damaged, missing, or non-functional equipment promptly.
- Maintain proper records of equipment issued to security personnel.
6. MIS & Reporting
- Review daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports from all assigned sites.
- Prepare and submit operational reports to senior management.
- Monitor manpower, attendance, attrition, training, incidents, inspections, compliance, and client feedback.
- Track pending action points and ensure timely closure.
- Provide regular updates on critical operational issues and risks.
- Ensure all reports are accurate and submitted within defined timelines.

Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate / Postgraduate from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 1012 years of experience in security operations.
- Minimum 35 years of experience in a managerial/senior operational position.
- Experience in managing multiple client sites and large security manpower.
- Experience in site inspections, client coordination,training, incident management, and compliance.
- Knowledge of PSARA, labour compliance, PF, ESI, BGV/PVC, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Experience in handling corporate security operations will be preferred.
- Exposure to emergency management, security audits, and client-specific security requirements will be an added advantage.
