Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shift pick-up/drop operations and on-time metrics.

• Ensure safety guidelines and escort protocols, including night shifts.
• Coordinate with vendors and drivers; verify licenses and documents.
• Serve as helpdesk for delays, incidents, and emergencies.
• Prepare shift logs, MIS reports, and SLA scorecards.

Job Title: Operational Shift Lead Employee Transport Operations

Role Summary

The Operational Shift Lead oversees day-to-day employee transport operations during assigned shift windows. This role manages real-time fleet movement, routes, roster execution, vendor performance, and safety protocols to ensure seamless, on-time, and safe commuting for all employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Shift Operations: Manage daily pick-up and drop dispatch operations, driver check-ins, and vehicle allocations. Ensure On-Time Arrival (OTA) and On-Time Departure (OTD) metrics are met.
• Rostering & Routing: Review and execute shift rosters, trip sheets, and route optimizations using automated Transport Management Systems (TMS).
• Safety & Escort Management: Enforce transport safety guidelines. Oversee female employee night-commute protocols, including mandatory escort guard allocation, vehicle tracking, and drop-confirmation checks.
• Vendor & Driver Coordination: Monitor vendor deployment, driver attendance, grooming, and compliance (valid DL, PUC, insurance, background checks).
• Helpdesk & Incident Response: Function as the primary escalation point for employee queries, delays, route deviations, and emergencies. Manage SOS alerts and real-time incident resolution.
• Reporting & Analytics: Maintain shift logs, MIS reports, billing validations, fuel utilization trackers, and vendor SLA scorecards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 5–8 years in corporate employee transport, fleet operations, or facility logistics (IT/ITeS/BPO domain preferred).
• Software Tools: Hands-on experience with transport platforms like MoveInSync, Routematic, Safetrax, or similar TMS applications, alongside advanced MS Excel skills.
• Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with local RTO norms, motor vehicle acts, Karnataka Shops and Commercial Establishments rules, and transport safety regulations.
• Soft Skills: Strong crisis management skills, effective verbal/written communication, and local language proficiency (Kannada) for vendor/driver communication.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work in 24/7 rotational shifts, including night shifts.
