M/S Radiocure Diagnostics in Ahmedabad seeks a Clinical Assistance & Interventional Radiology Support professional to scrub and assist the radiologist during advanced sterile procedures such as biopsies, FNACs, drainage procedures, angioplasties and catheter insertions.

You will prepare patients, secure IV access, administer local anesthesia/sedation, monitor vitals, manage emergencies, maintain records, and coordinate billing and reporting while upholding radiation safety and infection control

• Stock auditing, expiry tracking and indenting to prevent shortages of materials; ensuring crash cart is ready.

. Clinical Assistance & Interventional Radiology Support

• Procedure Assistance: Scrubbing and assisting the Interventional Radiologist during advanced sterile procedures (e.g., biopsies, FNACs, drainage procedures, angioplasties, catheter insertions).
• Patient Preparation: Preparing the patient for procedures, securing IV access, administering local anesthesia/sedation as directed, and monitoring vital signs (BP, heart rate, SPO2) throughout the scan or procedure.
• Emergency Management: Swiftly managing contrast reactions, allergic responses, or vasovagal attacks under the radiologists supervision.

2. Documentation & Reporting

• Consent Verification: Ensuring all high-risk consent forms (for contrast administration or invasive procedures) are properly signed, verified, and filed.
• Patient Records: Accurately maintaining patient history logs, screening questionnaires (e.g., MRI safety checklists, kidney function/creatinine reports before CT scans), and pre-procedure charts.
• Billing & Reporting Coordination: Coordinating between the radiologist, technicians, and front desk to ensure timely entry of consumable bills and dispatch of diagnostic reports.

3. Inventory Control & Stock Management

• Stock Auditing: Monitoring and managing the daily stock of medicines, contrast agents (e.g., Omnipaque, Visipaque), emergency drugs, syringes, and sterile packs.
• Expiry & Breakdown Tracking: Keeping an updated log of drug expiry dates and ensuring the crash cart is 100% prepared and checked every shift.
• Indenting: Raising timely indents/requests to the central pharmacy or purchase department to ensure zero shortage of critical materials.

4. Patient Care & Safety

• Radiation Safety: Ensuring strict adherence to radiation protection protocols (providing lead aprons to patients/helpers when necessary).
• Infection Control: Maintaining a highly sterile environment in the ultrasound/CT biopsy rooms and interventional suites according to NABH guidelines.
• Post-Procedure Care: Monitoring patients in the recovery bay post‑biopsy or post‑sedation before formal discharge.
