Vitality healthcare in Indore District is looking for a specialist in Diagnostic Imaging & Reporting. The role includes interpreting reports for various imaging modalities like Ultrasound, CT Scans, and MRIs, ensuring safety protocols, and performing minor procedures.
Candidates should hold an MD or DNB in Radio-diagnosis and have a range of experience from 0 to 5+ years. Collaboration with referring physicians and guidance of technicians are also crucial aspects of the role.
Modality Management: Interpret and provide detailed, structured reports for Ultrasound (USG), CT Scans, MRI, X-Rays.
Specialized Scans: Perform and interpret advanced ultrasound studies, including Color Doppler, anomaly scans, and musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasounds as required.
Turnaround Time (TAT): Ensure all routine and urgent imaging reports are completed within the center’s established TAT protocols to maintain operational efficiency.
Interventional Support: Perform minor image‑guided procedures if offered by the center, such as USG/CT‑guided FNAC (Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology), biopsies, or fluid aspirations.
Patient Safety: Review patient medical history before contrast administration, manage any adverse contrast reactions, and ensure strict adherence to radiation safety protocols (ALARA principle).
Peer Consultation: Act as a diagnostic consultant to referring physicians, discussing complex or critical findings directly over the phone or in person.
Technician Guidance: Oversee and guide radiology technicians and radiographers to ensure proper patient positioning, optimal scanning protocols, and high‑quality image acquisition.
