With advanced diagnostic infrastructure being established including AERB-approved radiology equipment, we are building a strong radiology team to deliver precise and timely diagnostic imaging services.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced CT Scan Technician who will be responsible for operating the CT imaging unit, ensuring patient safety during procedures, and producing high-quality diagnostic images in coordination with our radiologist team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate the CT scan machine independently to perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and extremity scans.
  
• Prepare patients for CT procedures — explain the procedure clearly, address patient concerns, position patients accurately, and administer contrast media under physician supervision when required.
  
• Ensure proper and accurate patient positioning to obtain optimal diagnostic image quality for each scan type.
  
• Monitor patients during scanning procedures and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions, especially in contrast-enhanced studies.
  
• Perform routine quality checks, calibration, and first-level maintenance of the CT equipment; escalate technical issues to the service team promptly.
  
• Maintain accurate records of all procedures performed, patient details, contrast usage, and radiation dose logs.
  
• Ensure strict compliance with AERB (Atomic Energy Regulatory Board) radiation safety guidelines and hospital radiation protection policies.
  
• Coordinate closely with the radiologist for image review, follow-up scans, and report preparation.
  
• Maintain proper documentation of equipment performance, radiation safety audits, and any incidents.
  
• Manage CT scan scheduling, patient flow, and turnaround time efficiently.
  
• Maintain inventory of contrast media, consumables, and accessories; raise purchase requests as needed.
  
• Maintain complete confidentiality of patient data and imaging records.
  
• Keep up to date with advances in CT imaging technology and protocols.
  
• B.Sc in Radiology / Medical Imaging Technology or DMRIT (Diploma in Medical Radiography and Imaging Technology) from a recognized institution.
  
• Valid AERB radiation worker registration / radiation safety certificate (mandatory)
  
• Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience operating a CT scan machine in a hospital or diagnostic centre.
  
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols for various body parts and clinical indications.
  
• Understanding of contrast media administration protocols and management of contrast reactions.
  
• Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and radiology information systems (RIS) preferred.
  
• Thorough knowledge of radiation safety principles and AERB compliance requirements.
  
• Ability to work independently, manage patient flow, and handle emergency imaging requests.
  
• Good communication and patient handling skills in Kannada, Hindi, and/or English.
  
• Willingness to work in shifts including nights and weekends if required.
