Konkan Speciality Polyproducts is seeking a logistics professional to manage despatch planning, documentation, and shipment tracking. You will coordinate vehicle loading, ensure compliant documentation, and monitor shipments until delivery while resolving issues and coordinating claims when needed.

The role requires coordinating withStores, Sales Ops, and customers, optimizing loads and routes, and maintaining ERP-based records with attention to GST and safety standards.

Formación

• Experience in despatch planning and logistics coordination.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and transport documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Plan daily despatches from the Sales Operations schedule and FG availability.
• Arrange vehicles, optimise loads and routes.
• Coordinate loading with Stores and ensure correct packing and labels.
• Ensure safe loading, covering and securing of material.
• Plan inbound pickups for urgent raw materials.
• Ensure invoices, e-way bills, LR, CoA and packing lists accompany shipments.
• Verify vehicle and driver documents before loading.
• Maintain despatch registers and records in ERP.
• Follow GST, transport and safety regulations.
• Support export documentation and container stuffing.
• Track shipments, collect POD, resolve delivery issues and coordinate insurer/transporter claims.
• Prepare logistics MIS: despatches, freight cost, delays.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. DESPATCH PLANNING

• 1. Plan daily despatches from the Sales Operations schedule and FG availability.
• 2. Arrange vehicles of suitable type and capacity; optimise loads and routes.
• 3. Coordinate loading with Stores, ensuring correct material, packing and labels.
• 4. Ensure safe loading, covering and securing of material.
• 5. Plan inbound pickups for urgent raw materials.

2. DOCUMENTATION & COMPLIANCE

• 1. Ensure invoice, e-way bill, LR, CoA and packing list accompany each shipment.
• 2. Verify vehicle and driver documents before loading.
• 3. Maintain despatch registers and records in ERP.
• 4. Follow GST, transport and safety regulations.
• 5. Support export documentation and container stuffing.

3. TRACKING & CUSTOMER SERVICE

• 1. Track shipments until delivery and share status with Sales Ops and customers.
• 2. Collect proof of delivery (POD) for all shipments.
• 3. Resolve delivery issues, shortages and damages.
• 4. Raise and follow up insurance and transporter claims.
• 5. Coordinate courier of samples and documents.

4. COST & VENDOR MANAGEMENT

• 1. Obtain transport quotations and support rate negotiations.
• 2. Verify freight bills against approved rates and PODs.
• 3. Evaluate transporter performance (placement, transit time, damages).
• 4. Coordinate with CHAs and forwarders for exports and imports.
• 5. Prepare logistics MIS: despatches, freight cost, delays.
