Job summary

Yatharth Super Speciality Hospitals is seeking experienced professionals for its Clinical Pathology and Hematology laboratory team. You will perform routine and specialized investigations, process and analyze samples, and help ensure timely reporting.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in Clinical Pathology/Hematology, a B.Sc./DMLT/M.Sc., hands-on experience with hematology analyzers, and knowledge of lab quality control and HIS.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Clinical Pathology and Hematology in a hospital or diagnostic laboratory.
• B.Sc./DMLT/M.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology or relevant qualification.
• Hands-on experience with hematology analyzers and routine pathology investigations.
• Good knowledge of laboratory quality control and safety procedures.
• Knowledge of laboratory information systems/HIS will be preferred.
• Good analytical and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized investigations in Clinical Pathology and Hematology.
• Process and analyze blood, urine, body fluids and other clinical specimens.
• Perform CBC, peripheral smear, ESR, coagulation tests and other hematology investigations.
• Operate and maintain hematology analyzers and other laboratory equipment.
• Perform internal quality control and ensure accuracy of test results.
• Identify abnormal results and follow established procedures for verification and reporting.
• Ensure proper sample identification, processing, storage and disposal.
• Maintain laboratory records, worksheets and quality control documentation.
• Follow NABL, infection control, biomedical waste and laboratory safety protocols.
• Coordinate with pathologists and other laboratory staff for timely reporting.
• Ensure proper calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
