Job summary

Tiara Infrastructure is seeking a Civil Site Engineer / Site Supervisor to lead and supervise pump house construction, building works and road projects at project sites. You will ensure safe, timely completion as per drawings, specs and quality standards.

The role involves coordinating with contractors, monitoring earthwork, RCC, PCC and drainage, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures on site.

Qualifications

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.
• 2–8 years of relevant experience for Civil Site Engineer; 2–6 years for Civil Site Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute day-to-day civil construction activities at site.
• Manage pump house construction including excavation, foundation, PCC, RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring and finishing works.
• Supervise building construction and structural works (footing, columns, beams, slabs, brick/block masonry).
• Execute and monitor road construction works (earthwork, subgrade, drainage, road prep).
• Check work per drawings, specs and site requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, labourers, vendors and project engineers.
• Monitor manpower, materials, tools and equipment; maintain records.
• Prepare daily progress reports and site documentation.
• Ensure proper use of materials and minimize wastage; check quality of concrete, reinforcement, masonry, plastering.

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and technically competent Civil Site Engineer / Site Supervisor to manage and supervise civil construction activities at project sites. The role will primarily involve pump house construction, building works, road works, RCC works, excavation, foundations, drainage and other infrastructure-related civil works.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that construction activities are completed safely, on time, and as per approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute day-to-day civil construction activities at site.
• Manage pump house construction, including excavation, foundation, PCC, RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring and finishing works.
• Supervise building construction and structural works, including footing, columns, beams, slabs, brick/block masonry and related works.
• Execute and monitor road construction works, including earthwork, subgrade, WMM/GSB, road preparation, drainage and related activities.
• Check construction work as per approved drawings, specifications and site requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, labourers, vendors and project engineers.
• Monitor manpower, materials, tools and equipment required for daily work.
• Conduct measurements of completed work and maintain site measurement records.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site documentation.
• Ensure proper use of construction materials and minimize wastage.
• Check quality of concrete, reinforcement, masonry, plastering and other civil works.
• Coordinate with surveyors for levels, alignment, measurements and setting-out work.
• Read and interpret civil, structural and architectural drawings.
• Monitor reinforcement, shuttering, concreting and curing activities.
• Ensure proper execution of excavation, backfilling, compaction and earthwork.
• Coordinate with testing agencies/laboratory for required material and concrete testing.
• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with seniors for timely resolution.
• Maintain records of work progress, materials, manpower and measurements.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of RCC, PCC, foundation, masonry, plastering and finishing works.
• Knowledge of pump house and water infrastructure construction will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of road construction and earthwork activities.
• Ability to read and understand civil/structural drawings.
• Basic knowledge of quantity estimation and measurements.
• Good knowledge of construction materials and methods.
• Ability to supervise contractors and labour teams.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work at project/construction sites.

Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.

Experience

• Civil Site Engineer: 2–8 years of relevant experience.
• Civil Site Supervisor: 2–6 years of relevant experience.
• Candidates with experience in pump house, building, road, water infrastructure or industrial civil works will be preferred.
