Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Civil Site Engineer to oversee and manage civil construction activities at project sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that work is executed according to approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure construction work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget and schedule.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Review construction drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications for accuracy and constructability.
• Plan and allocate manpower, materials, equipment, and resources efficiently.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
• Monitor material usage and minimize wastage through effective planning and control.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
• Verify contractor bills, measurements, and work completion records.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions during project execution.
• Ensure adherence to local building codes, statutory regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Lead site meetings and coordinate with internal departments for smooth project execution.
• Maintain proper project documentation, including inspection records, site instructions, and quality reports.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and site supervisors.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech. Civil).

Experience

• 710 years of experience in civil construction projects.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior site engineering role.
• Experience in Mivan shuttering of residential and commercial projects is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of RCC works in conventional and mivan shuttering and site execution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Familiarity with project planning tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera is preferred.
• Good understanding of QA/QC procedures and construction methodologies.
• Knowledge of billing, quantity surveying and reconciliation
• Understanding of safety standards and construction regulations.
