Job summary

Rotomaker in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced E-commerce Catalog Manager to collect, clean, and convert supplier data into Shopify-ready formats. You will own bulk uploads, maintain metadata, and ensure data accuracy across titles, SKUs, prices, images, and collections using Excel and Google Sheets.

You will also manage Shopify Metafields and product attributes, map supplier details to product fields, and perform quality checks to resolve data issues. Basic HTML knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 12 years of experience in E-commerce Catalog Management.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify Admin.
• Knowledge of Shopify CSV and bulk product import/export.
• Experience with Shopify Metafields.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Good understanding of SKUs, product variants, inventory, collections, tags, barcodes, and product types.
• Strong data-entry, data-cleaning, and data-validation skills.
• Experience handling large product datasets.
• Knowledge of formulas such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IF, IFERROR, and CONCATENATE.
• Familiarity with Pivot Tables, filters, sorting, conditional formatting, and duplicate checks.
• Basic understanding of HTML is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and convert raw product data from suppliers and vendors into Shopify-compatible formats.
• Clean, organize, standardize, and validate product data using Excel and Google Sheets.
• Prepare and manage Shopify CSV files for bulk product creation and updates.
• Manage product titles, descriptions, SKUs, prices, inventory, images, variants, tags, collections, and product types.
• Create, maintain, and update Shopify Metafields and product attributes.
• Map supplier information such as brand, manufacturer, ingredients, country of origin, specifications, dimensions, and weight to appropriate product fields.
• Format product descriptions and clean basic HTML content.
• Verify product images, image URLs, alt text, and image-to-product mapping.
• Perform pre- and post-upload quality checks to ensure product information is accurate.
• Identify and correct duplicate, missing, inconsistent, or incorrect product data.
• Troubleshoot Shopify bulk-upload errors and resolve data-related issues.
• Maintain and update existing products, inventory, categories, collections, tags, and attributes.
• Manage discontinued, inactive, and outdated products.
• Maintain catalog trackers and prepare basic reports when required.
