Godrej Properties is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager Finishing to lead finishing activities for premium residential and high-rise projects. You will plan, coordinate, execute, and monitor all finishing works while upholding quality, schedule, safety and cost objectives.

The role demands strong technical expertise in architectural finishes, interior and exterior work, vendor management, and customer-focused quality delivery.

Competenze

• Experience leading finishing works on premium residential/high-rise projects.
• Strong knowledge of architectural finishes including flooring, painting, waterproofing, and faade.
• Proven ability to manage contractors, vendors, and snag rectifications.
• Coordinate with civil, MEP, faade and other teams to meet schedules and budgets.
• Proficient in interpreting BOQ and managing material planning.

Role Summary We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager Finishing to lead and manage finishing activities for premium residential and high-rise projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring all finishing works while ensuring adherence to quality standards, project timelines, safety requirements, and cost objectives. The candidate should possess strong technical expertise in architectural finishes, interior works, external faade finishes, vendor management, and customer-centric quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities Project Execution

• Plan, execute, and monitor all finishing activities as per approved construction schedules.
• Ensure timely completion of internal and external finishing works.
• Coordinate with civil, MEP, faade, landscaping, and allied teams for seamless execution.
• Monitor daily progress and resolve execution-related challenges.

Quality Management

• Ensure superior workmanship across all finishing activities.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with approved specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
• Coordinate snag rectification before handover.

Contractor & Vendor Management

• Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and finishing vendors.
• Monitor productivity, workmanship, and resource deployment.
• Verify contractor bills based on work completion.
• Ensure timely material availability in coordination with procurement teams.

Planning & Coordination

• Prepare weekly and monthly execution plans.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams.
• Track project milestones and proactively mitigate delays.

Customer Handover

• Ensure apartments are delivered with zero or minimum defects.
• Participate in pre-handover inspections.
• Coordinate closure of customer observations and punch points.
• Support CRM during customer possession activities.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Promote safe working practices at site.
• Ensure adherence to statutory and environmental guidelines.
