Job summary

Ion Exchange in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Purchase professional to manage procurement for our Service Division, focusing on sourcing materials, vendor management, and timely procurement of equipment, spares, chemicals, and consumables for water treatment projects.

The candidate will drive end-to-end procurement, negotiate terms, maintain supplier performance, and ensure ERP/SAP processes are leveraged to optimize costs and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• MBA in Supply Chain is an added advantage.
• 8-12 years of procurement experience in related industries.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end procurement activities for the Service Division.
• Develop and maintain a reliable vendor base.
• Obtain quotations, perform techno-commercial evaluations, and negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
• Prepare Purchase Orders and ensure timely material delivery.
• Coordinate with Service, Projects, Stores, Finance, and Vendors for seamless procurement.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability.
• Resolve supplier-related issues and ensure quality compliance.
• Track procurement KPIs, cost optimization initiatives, and vendor performance.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and documentation

Desired Candidate Profile
