Job summary

XpertReach is seeking a seasoned operations leader to head Consumer Electronics as a full P&L owner in Bengaluru. This senior role will define the manufacturing roadmap, build the electronics supply chain, and drive category profitability in a fast-growing Indian appliance market.

You will oversee end-to-end manufacturing, supplier partnerships, and cross-functional leadership across operations, quality, engineering, and supply chain to deliver scalable, competitive electronics products.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics / consumer appliance manufacturing with P&L or category leadership.
• Strong electronics fundamentals in power electronics, PCB design, and IGBT-based systems.
• Proven track record running a small appliance manufacturing vertical.
• Experience managing EMS vendors and domestic supply chains.
• Knowledge of BIS certification, CE marking, and quality management systems (ISO 9001 / IPC).
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to read P&Ls and engage with senior stakeholders.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned operations leader to head Consumer Electronics as a full P&L owner. This is a strategic, senior leadership role that will define the manufacturing roadmap, build the electronics supply chain, drive category profitability, and position the company as a dominant player in India's fast-growing appliance market.

Key Responsibilities

• P&L Ownership & Business Strategy: Own the full P&L for the Appliance category revenue, COGS, margins, and EBITDA; Set annual production targets, cost reduction goals, and capacity expansion plans; Drive makes vs. buy decisions, Identify & Tie up with outsource EMS partners.
• Manufacturing & Operations Excellence: Oversee end-to-end appliance manufacturing PCB assembly, power electronics, coil assembly, final assembly, and testing; Drive OEE improvements, yield enhancement, and waste reduction across production lines; Oversee NPI (New Product Introduction) and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) process for new SKUs; Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with BIS IS 302-2-6 and relevant safety standards.
• Electronics & Technology Leadership: Deep oversight of power electronics IGBT circuits, resonance design, control PCBs, and SMT lines; Drive localisation of key electronic components to improve margins and reduce import dependency; Partner with R&D on next-gen appliances products multi-burner, commercial, and smart-connected variants.
• Supply Chain & Vendor Management: Build and manage strategic vendor ecosystem for electronic components, coils, glass tops, and casings; Lead sourcing strategy for IGBTs, micro controllers, capacitors, and PCBs domestically and from SE Asia; Negotiate long-term supply agreements; ensure business continuity and BOM cost reduction.
• Team Building & Leadership: Build and lead a high-performance team across operations, quality, engineering, and supply chain; Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement (Kaizen / Six Sigma), and operational discipline; Engage cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Product teams to align on category growth plans.

Requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 1522 years of experience in electronics / consumer appliance manufacturing with at least 2-3 years in a P&L or category leadership role
• Strong electronics fundamentals hands-on understanding of power electronics, PCB design, and IGBT-based systems
• Proven track record of running an small appliance manufacturing vertical in similar companies.
• Experience managing EMS vendors / contract manufacturers and building domestic supply chains
• Knowledge of BIS certification, CE marking, and quality management systems (ISO 9001 / IPC standards)
• Strong commercial acumen ability to read P&Ls, drive cost targets, and engage with senior business stakeholders.
