Job summary

Rempact in Pune is seeking a Head of Supply Chain to own end-to-end electronics sourcing, BOM management and supplier qualification. The role focuses on expanding supplier depth, reducing landed cost per unit and aligning multi-SKU demand with factory capabilities.

You will lead the in-house logistics, procurement and operations team, develop localization and import strategies for EN71/ASTM F963 compliance, and build direct relationships with EMS/PCBA partners and Chinese suppliers.

Qualifications

• Electronics sourcing at component level with BOM ownership.
• Qualified and scaled an EMS or PCBA partner.
• Supply chain or procurement in a physical product business (consumer electronics/toys preferred).
• Demand planning for multi-SKU, multi-channel operation.
• Experience with Chinese suppliers and export-grade compliance (EN71, ASTM F963, BIS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build supplier depth by qualifying alternate manufacturers and maintaining standards.

WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS
Bilt will only work if the electronics are good. A toy is interactive only if it does what it promises every time it's switched on, and that comes down to the components inside it.
We aim to diversify the supplier base. As of now, much of our core electronic line sits with a few suppliers, and broadening that decides what we can launch and keep in stock. Demand is strong, and the job is building the ability to serve all of it. You'll own this end to end.

What You Will Own

• Electronics end to end: component sourcing, PCBA, and qualifying EMS partners
• Building supplier depth by qualifying alternate manufacturers, then holding both to a standard
• Landed cost per unit, with a mandate to bring it down
• Component-level demand and supply planning across SKUs and channels, connecting the launch calendar to what factories can deliver
• Materials: finding plastic alternatives and non-toxic materials that survive daily use, a factory and a price point
• Localisation and import strategy for the electronics bill of materials, building toward EN71 and ASTM F963
• The team: you'll lead the logistics, procurement and operations team we already have in-house

Requirements

• Electronics sourcing at component level. You have owned a multi-level BOM and bought the parts inside it
• You have qualified and scaled an EMS or PCBA partner yourself
• Supply chain or procurement in a physical product business. Consumer electronics, appliances or electronic toys preferred
• Demand planning for a multi-SKU, multi-channel operation
• An advantage: existing relationships with Chinese suppliers, agents or trading houses, experience running sourcing trips, and export-grade compliance (EN71, ASTM F963, BIS)
