Altraize is seeking skilled VMC Operators for our Bengaluru facility. The role focuses on operating Vertical Machining Centres, setting up jobs, and closely monitoring processes to meet production and quality standards.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of CNC/VMC experience and be comfortable reading engineering drawings and using basic measuring tools. Responsibilities include tool setting, loading/unloading, in-process inspection, and adherence to 5S and safety procedures.

Formación

• 1–3 years of experience as a VMC Operator / CNC Operator.
• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or a relevant technical trade preferred.
• Knowledge of VMC machine operations and measuring instruments is required.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret machining specifications.

Responsabilidades

• Operate Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) machines as per production requirements.
• Perform machine setting, tool setting, and job loading/unloading.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining specifications.
• Understand and use measuring instruments such as Vernier caliper, micrometer, and gauges.
• Monitor machining parameters and ensure components are produced as per required dimensions.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and report machine/tool issues to the supervisor.
• Conduct in-process inspection and maintain required quality standards.
• Follow production schedules and achieve daily production targets.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and follow 5S practices.
• Follow all safety procedures and company manufacturing standards.
• Maintain production and inspection records.
