Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in visa processing, handling multi-country portfolios, and deep knowledge of US, Schengen, and UAE visa processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred) in Business Administration, International Relations, or related field.
• 36 years of experience in visa processing, immigration, or international student services.
• Experience handling multi-country visa portfolios preferred.
• Strong knowledge of global visa processes (US, Schengen, UAE, etc.).
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage student and staff visa applications for multiple countries across programs.
• Ensure compliance with immigration laws, embassy requirements, and documentation standards.
• Track visa timelines, approvals, and renewals.
• Serve as primary contact for visa-related queries.
• Coordinate pre-departure briefings on visa requirements and travel regulations.
• Assist students with financial proofs, SOPs, and travel insurance.

About the Role

The Visa Manager will be responsible for end-to-end visa and immigration processes for students, faculty, and staff participating in global programs. This role is critical in enabling seamless international mobility, especially given the multi-country academic model of the institutions.

Specifically, this role will involve

• Managing student and staff visa applications for multiple countries (e.g., UAE, USA, Singapore, EU, etc.)
• Ensuring compliance with immigration laws, embassy requirements, and documentation standards
• Tracking visa timelines, approvals, and renewals
• Acting as the primary point of contact for visa-related queries
• Conducting pre-departure briefings on visa requirements and travel regulations
• Assisting students with documentation such as financial proofs, SOPs, and travel insurance
• Liaising with embassies, consulates, visa agencies, and legal consultants
• Collaborating with internal teams (Admissions, Operations, Student Experience)
• Coordinating with global partners and host institutions
• Developing and standardizing visa SOPs and documentation checklists
• Maintaining a centralized visa tracking system/database
• Identifying risks and proactively mitigating visa rejection issues
• Staying updated on changing immigration policies across countries
• Ensuring adherence to international travel regulations and institutional policies
• Handling escalations, reapplications, and exceptional cases

Ideal candidate will have

• Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) in Business Administration, International Relations, or related field
