Qualifications

• Experience in travel ticketing, visa processing, or related travel services role.
• Knowledge of domestic and international flight reservations, ticket issuance, fare rules, cancellations, and reissues.
• Understanding of visa procedures and destination-specific travel requirements.
• Familiarity with GDS and reservation platforms (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) preferred.

Role Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Visa and Ticketing Consultant to manage end-to-end travel reservations and visa assistance. The ideal candidate will have experience in flight and train ticketing, visa documentation, travel coordination, and customer service.

The role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy in booking and documentation, and the ability to recommend suitable travel options while ensuring a smooth experience for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Flight and Ticketing: Manage flight, train, and other transport reservations, including fare searches, quotations, bookings, ticket issuance, cancellations, and modifications.
• Visa Assistance: Guide clients through visa application procedures, destination-specific documentation requirements, appointment scheduling, and application follow-ups.
• Travel Planning: Provide suitable travel options, fare comparisons, itinerary details, and information on travel rules and requirements.
• Customer Relationship Management: Handle client enquiries professionally, provide timely updates, and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Documentation and Records: Verify booking details, maintain accurate reservation records, and ensure travel documents are complete and properly organized.
• Supplier Coordination: Liaise with airlines, consolidators, visa centres, and other travel service providers to manage reservations and resolve issues.
• Booking Support: Handle schedule changes, cancellations, refunds, ticketing discrepancies, and other travel-related concerns efficiently.
• Compliance and Accuracy: Stay updated on relevant visa requirements, airline policies, fare rules, and international travel documentation guidelines.
• Sales and Service: Recommend appropriate travel services, identify additional customer requirements, and contribute to sales and business targets.
• Follow-ups: Coordinate with clients for pending documents, payments, booking confirmations, and application updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in travel ticketing, visa processing, reservations, or a related travel services role.
• Knowledge of domestic and international flight reservations, ticket issuance, fare rules, cancellations, and reissuance.
• Understanding of visa procedures, supporting documents, and destination-specific travel requirements.
• Familiarity with GDS and reservation platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo is preferred.
• Strong communication, customer service, and client-handling skills.
• Good sales, negotiation, and travel-service recommendation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, email communication, and reservation record management.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A high school diploma is the minimum educational qualification; a degree or certification in Travel and Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
