Job description

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Provide exceptional traveller care and customer services to corporate clients.

Accurately complete end-to-end travel requirements for both international and domestic travel arrangements, including air, hotel, rail, ticketing requests, fares, routings, and visa requests for corporate travellers.

Incumbent should have good knowledge of domestic and international critical itineraries; geographical knowledge is mandatory.

Open to working in a 24/7 environment, including weekends, public holidays, and festivals.

Manage relationships with VFS, embassies, and vendors to ensure timely confirmations.

Co-ordinate internally with departments to ensure quick resolution for the customer to adhere to SLA.

Ensure the latest updated policies, procedures, and desk instructions are read and complied with.

Excellent customer service and communication skills – written and verbal.

Provide consultative multi-country routings for best fares and preferred carrier usage; counsel clients on efficient routings for lowest logical fares in coordination with clients' travel policies.

Maximize the benefits of company technology, desktop applications, and telephony to deliver a superior experience to business travelers.

Research and resolve client inquiries/issues at the point of sale; coach, develop, and mentor peers and junior travel consultants.

Comply with all legal and industry standards; embrace the role of providing superior consultative value to clients versus just being an order taker.

Ensure each PNR contains standard documentation and document any exceptions handled during the reservations process.

Experience & Skills:

Graduate; a diploma or degree in travel & tourism would be an added advantage.

3-4 years of relevant experience in the travel domain.

Build excellent relationships with customer groups, peers, and seniors.

Should be a team player and able to manage independently if required.

GDS experience is mandatory – Galileo & Amadeus.

Knowledge of corporate travel economics and travel technology/tools will be an added advantage.
