Role Description

The Video Editor (Short Videos) role at Midgrow is a full-time, on-site position based in Indore. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing short-form video content for various digital platforms, aligning visual storytelling with brand guidelines and campaign goals. Day-to-day tasks include organizing raw footage, assembling sequences, applying transitions, color correction, basic sound adjustments, and incorporating motion graphics or text overlays where needed. The role involves close collaboration with content creators, designers, and marketing strategists to adapt video assets for social media, ads, and website use. The Video Editor will also contribute ideas for improving engagement, optimizing formats for different channels, and maintaining a consistent quality and style across all projects.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for short-form digital content.
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and appealing visual quality.
• Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging overlays, animations, and visual elements.
• Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Indore, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity in visual storytelling, and understanding of social media video formats and best practices are preferred.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is an advantage.
