Job summary

Metaslay is seeking a dedicated Video Editor for a full-time, on-site role in Vishakhapatnam. You will assemble raw footage into polished content for ads and social media, applying transitions, sound, graphics, and color grading to align with brand strategy and campaign goals.

You will manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, ensure organized files, meet deadlines, and contribute creative ideas to elevate production quality with basic motion graphics and platform optimization.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have video production and editing skills for marketing/brand content.
• Candidates should have color grading skills for visual consistency and high-quality aesthetics.
• Candidates should have motion graphics and overlay skills to create engaging visuals.
• Strong understanding of editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic motion tools (After Effects).
• Ability to interpret briefs, follow brand guidelines, and collaborate with designers, marketers, and copywriters.
• Attention to detail, time management, and ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Daily tasks include editing and sequencing clips, applying transitions, sound, and graphics, and collaborating with the creative and marketing teams to align visuals with brand strategy and campaign goals. The role also involves color grading, basic motion graphics, and optimizing content for different platforms and formats. The Video Editor will maintain organized project files, follow deadlines, and contribute creative ideas to enhance overall production quality.
