Qualifications

• 15 years of experience in academics/education.
• Minimum 12 years of experience as a Vice Principal in a reputed school preferred.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and administrative capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Principal in smooth functioning and overall management of the school.
• Lead academic operations and ensure effective curriculum and teaching methodologies.
• Mentor and evaluate teachers and coordinators to drive academic excellence.
• Monitor classroom practices, student progress, and academic records with timely feedback.
• Oversee student discipline and foster a safe, inclusive school environment.
• Coordinate admissions, documentation, compliance, and school events.
• Represent the Principal and take charge of school operations when required.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Principal in the smooth functioning and overall management of the school.
• Lead academic operations and ensure effective implementation of curriculum, teaching methodologies, and academic processes.
• Mentor, guide, and evaluate teachers and coordinators to drive academic excellence.
• Monitor classroom practices, student progress, academic records, and provide timely feedback.
• Manage student discipline and foster a positive, safe, and inclusive school environment.
• Oversee co-curricular activities, sports, assemblies, annual functions, competitions, and examinations.
• Handle parent interactions and resolve student/parent/staff concerns effectively.
• Support recruitment, induction, employee engagement, and staff retention in coordination with HR.
• Coordinate administrative operations, admissions, documentation, compliance, and school events.
• Work closely with management and central teams to ensure seamless school operations.
• Ensure adherence to safety, child protection, and organizational policies.
• Represent the Principal and take charge of school operations when required.

Eligibility

• B.Ed. mandatory; PG/M.Ed. preferred.
• 15 years of experience in academics/education.
• Minimum 12 years of experience as a Vice Principal in a reputed school preferred.
• Strong experience in academic leadership, teacher management, school administration, and stakeholder management.
