Job summary

The Newtown School in Kolkata is seeking an experienced Vice Principal to work closely with the Principal to drive academic excellence, teacher performance, student development and smooth school operations.

You will support the Principal in academic leadership, lead and mentor departments, ensure CBSE curriculum implementation and foster strong engagement with parents and stakeholders. The role requires extensive CBSE experience and a postgraduate Science degree.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in school education with strong CBSE background.
  • Minimum 5 years in a leadership role (VP, Academic Head, Headmistress/Headmaster or Senior Coordinator).
  • Postgraduate qualification with a Science background.

  • Ability to partner with the Principal while independently taking ownership of key responsibilities.
  • Candidates aged 40–50 with experience in reputed CBSE schools will be preferred.
