• Strong hands-on knowledge of CBSE curriculum, Board examinations and CBSE affiliation/compliance.
• Proven experience in academic leadership, school administration and people management.
• Excellent communication, decision-making and parent/stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong academic leadership and ensure effective implementation of the CBSE curriculum, assessments and academic standards.
• Manage and oversee CBSE Board Examination processes including registration, internal assessments, practicals, documentation and examination compliance.
• Ensure compliance with CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws, CBSE circulars and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the day-to-day administration and smooth functioning of the school, including discipline, attendance, safety and school operations.
• Lead and mentor teachers, HODs and coordinators, monitor performance and drive professional development.
• Work closely with the Admissions team on enrolment, parent interactions and student retention.
• Handle parent escalations, student issues and stakeholder management effectively.
• Support the Principal in school planning, events, policies, academic improvement initiatives and strategic priorities.
• Step in as the acting head of the school in the Principal's absence.
