Job summary

DIGITALCUBE CONSULTANCY SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED in Gurugram, India, seeks a Vice President of Architecture to lead the architectural design function and drive delivery of large-scale building and infrastructure projects. You will provide strategic and technical leadership across multiple concurrent programs and strengthen client relationships in Indian and international markets.

Vice President Architecture

Location: Gurugram, India

Education: B.Arch from a reputed institution (M.Arch an advantage)

About the Role

You will lead the architectural design function and drive delivery of large-scale building and infrastructure projects. The role covers strategic and technical leadership of architectural teams, managing multiple concurrent projects, owning design quality and consistency, and strengthening client relationships across Indian and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical leadership to the Architecture vertical
• Develop and implement architectural guidelines, standards and best practices to ensure quality and consistency across all projects
• Lead, mentor and grow architectural teams working on concurrent large-scale projects
• Own design quality, technical reviews and approvals across the portfolio
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations and construction practices in India and international markets, particularly the US and UK
• Manage end-to-end delivery including planning, resourcing, budgets, schedules and risk
• Act as senior point of contact for clients, consultants and internal stakeholders
• Drive adoption of BIM workflows, modern architectural software and collaboration tools
• Support business growth through proposals, technical bids and capability building

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 15 to 20 years of overall experience in architectural design and delivery
• Strong hands-on architectural design background across the full project lifecycle
• Minimum 10 years of experience working in a BIM environment
• Proven experience leading and managing architectural teams, not only individual project delivery
• In-depth working knowledge of building codes, regulations and construction practices
• Delivery track record on large and complex projects, with experience in at least two of the following: high-rise commercial buildings, large residential or mixed-use developments, airports, transport infrastructure
• Proficiency in current industry-standard architectural and BIM software
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills

Preferred

• M.Arch
• Experience with international codes and standards across the US, Europe and APAC
• Experience on large landscape projects
• Currently operating at Director, Vice President, Head of Architecture or Senior Associate Director level, or a strong Design Head ready for the next step
• Experience working with international clients or within global design offices
