Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fitter, or Machinist.
• Understanding of G-codes and M-codes.
• Experience with control systems like Fanuc, Siemens, or Haas.
• Ability to read 2D/3D engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Typically, 1 to 5 years of shop floor, Toolroom experience.
• CTC: 3.5 lakh to 4.25 lakh

Responsibilities

• Machine Setup: Load raw materials, position fixtures, and install cutting tools into the machine.
• Offsets & Programs: Set work and tool offsets, load programs, and run test cycles (proving out) to verify accuracy.
• Operation & Monitoring: Oversee production runs, listen for unusual tool sounds, and adjust feeds or speeds as needed.
• Quality Inspection: Use precision tools like Vernier callipers, micrometres, and height gauges to check finished parts against blueprints.
• Maintenance: Clean the machine, check coolant levels, and report mechanical issues.
