Job summary

Proxelera in Bengaluru is seeking a Verification Lead to shape the verification strategy for AI, DSP and AMS chips, owning verification for subsystems and SoCs.

You will design and implement the testbench architecture, mentor engineers across levels, lead failure triage, and ensure milestones are delivered on time within cross-functional teams.

ABOUT PROXELERA

Proxelera does end-to-end chip design from India, specification through silicon. Most chip companies use their India centres for validation or one slice of the process. Proxelera was built on the opposite idea: the whole system, owned ground up, in country. Over 190 engineers across the Bengaluru and Mysuru design centres, working on AI, DSP, AMS and wireless networking silicon.

THE ROLE

As a Verification Lead you will shape the verification strategy for AI, DSP and AMS chips, taking ownership of verification for subsystems and SoCs.

THE WORK

• Own the verification strategy for a subsystem or SoC, defining what sign-off means and keeping teams aligned on it.
• Design and implement the testbench architecture that other engineers build on.
• Lead failure triage and root-cause analysis, mentoring verification engineers at a range of experience levels.
• Estimate effort and manage schedules, delivering verification milestones on time without dropping quality.
• Work across functions to integrate verification with overall project goals, addressing challenges as they come up.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• You have led verification strategy for a subsystem or SoC, owning it rather than executing someone else's plan.
• Deep SystemVerilog and UVM expertise, with a current understanding of best practice.
• Failure triage and root-cause analysis experience, with a track record of mentoring engineers at different levels.
• Hands-on experience building or owning testbench architecture that others have used.

EVEN BETTER IF

• You have driven coverage closure to sign-off on a part that taped out.
• You have worked across complex IPs such as interconnects, memory controllers, DMA, PCIe, USB, Ethernet and DDR.
• You are familiar with formal methods applied to real properties, and you have set coding standards or automation that outlived your tenure.
