Job summary

The role requires 10–15 years of experience in utility operations, with strong knowledge of boilers, chillers, and ammonia refrigeration, plus leadership, vendor management, and project execution skills. This position is on-site at the facility.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of relevant experience in utility operations and maintenance, preferably in FMCG or food processing.
• Strong knowledge of industrial utilities, especially boilers, chillers, and ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Experience in team management, project execution, statutory compliance, and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Manage plant utilities, including boilers, chillers, HVAC, ammonia refrigeration, DG sets, air compressors, ETP, RO, WTP, WWTP, and fire protection systems.
• Ensure preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and uninterrupted plant operations.
• Ensure statutory compliance related to boilers, fire safety, fuel storage, factory licenses, and pollution control.
• Lead utility maintenance teams and coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers.
• Drive energy conservation, water optimization, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, GMP/GHP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
• Plan and execute minor engineering projects, including budgeting, vendor selection, cost tracking, and project capitalization.
