Job summary

Gujarat Fluorochemicals is seeking a Project Utilities professional to lead the utilities function on site at Dahej. You will coordinate resource planning, schedule execution, and oversee off-site pipe racks, piping works, and critical plant systems including DM/RO plants, air compressors, nitrogen and refrigeration systems.

The role requires strong leadership, accountability, and ability to engage with consultants, vendors and contractors.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Project utilities function.
• Ability to prepare a failure analysis/technical report.
• Ability to develop schemes from reliability/cost perspective.
• Ability to prepare equipment reports and track uptime.
• Familiarity with maintenance workflows, procedures and systems.

Responsibilities

• In charge of the project utilities function.
• Responsible for resource & execution planning including schedule.
• Assurance for off site pipe racks & piping works; DM, DI & RO plants; air compressors & dryers; nitrogen plant; refrigeration systems and firefighting systems.
• Oversee HAVC, cooling tower systems, water & condensate management.
• Coordinate project planning and execution with Project Head, PMC designer, vendors & contractors.
• Manage consumable and spares inventory, subcontracting and labour management.
• Set priorities and ensure quality, timely completion and handover to operations.
• Ensure safety and quality management system adherence and drive continual improvement.
• Plan resources including manpower and facilities utilization.

Role & responsibilities

• In charge of the project utilities function.
• Responsible for resource & Execution planning including Schedule

Assurance for the Following Areas;

• Off Site Pipe Racks & Piping Works
• DM, DI & RO Plants,
• Air Compressors & Dryers,
• Nitrogen Plant,
• Refrigeration systems including screw chillers & VAM Systems,
• Fire Hydrant systems operation & maintenance,
• HAVC,
• Cooling Tower Systems,
• Water & condensate management
• Project planning and execution in co-ordination with Project Head, Project.
• Management Consultant(PMC) designer ,Vendosr & Contractors.
• Consumable and spares inventory management, sub contracting and labour management,
• Setting priorities, Ensuring Quality of Job, Timely Completion & Systematic Handing over of the System to Operation Team.
• Responsible for continual improvement and maintaining Safety & Quality Management System.
• Resource planning in terms of utilisation of manpower and facility.
• Responsible for safety compliances as per statutory requirements.
• Responsible for all process improvement requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

Working knowledge of Project.
