We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced US Accounting Associate to join our team in Indore. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in US accounting/bookkeeping and be comfortable working with US clients and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities for US clients
  Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  Prepare and post journal entries
  Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  Assist with month-end closing activities
  Prepare financial statements and accounting reports
  Assist with payroll-related accounting and expense management
  Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
  Review transactions and identify discrepancies or unusual items
  Coordinate with US clients and internal teams for accounting-related queries
  Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and deliverables

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
  Knowledge of US accounting and bookkeeping practices
  Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online or other accounting software
  Good knowledge of MS Excel
  Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
  Good written and verbal communication skills
  Ability to work with US clients and meet deadlines

Qualification

B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification

Experience in US Accounting / US Bookkeeping will be preferred.

Working Hours

The role may require working in US time zones / night shifts, depending on client requirements.

Preference will be given to candidates from accounting/consultancy firms and candidates residing in or around Indore.
