Qualifications

• CA / CA Inter preferred.
• 3–4 years experience in KPO, BPO, US Accounting, or Accounting Outsourcing.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and US Accounting practices.
• Hands-on experience in GL, AP, AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Strong team management and leadership skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Sage, or similar tools.
• Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and client-handling skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within deadlines.
• Willingness to work in a US-aligned shift.

Responsibilities

• Manage US Accounting operations and team performance.
• Review GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, payroll, and month-end/year-end closing.
• Ensure accounting activities comply with US GAAP and company policies.
• Review P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and financial reports.
• Handle client communication, queries, and accounting-related issues.
• Monitor team productivity, quality, accuracy, and timely completion of deliverables.
• Guide, mentor, and train team members to improve their skills.
• Coordinate with clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders when required.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Support audits and assist in resolving accounting discrepancies and compliance issues.
