Job summary

Capgemini in Chennai, India is seeking an experienced US Payroll Analyst to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing. You will handle weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and off-cycle payroll activities, and respond to client queries through multiple channels.

You will also clarify HR policies, manage your process segment per Capgemini standards, and lead knowledge sharing sessions within the team and with other delivery units.

Qualifications

• 1 to 5 years of US Payroll experience.
• Data entry in HR systems (Workday, Oracle HCM, Taleo, SuccessFactors).
• Proficient in Excel with Pivot and VLOOKUP.
• Strong MS Office skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and client interaction skills.

Your Role

We are seeking for an experienced US Payroll Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate processing of employee payroll data according to the project deadlines.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• US Payroll Processing - Weekly/Bi-Weekly/Monthly and Off-Cycle Payroll Processing. New Hire, Termination, Transfer and Overpayments, Retro Processing, Good Knowledge of Time and labor and Overtime Rules
• Respond to clients queries accurately (via phone, live chat, email and case management system)
• Provide clarification of HR policies and procedures
• Manage assigned part of the process according to Capgemini methodology and/or agreed transition plan
• Organize knowledge sharing sessions both within the team and cross teams

Your Profile

• Experience of 1 to 5 years in managing US Payroll activities.
• System data entry experience (Workday, Oracle HCM, Taleo, SuccessFactors, etc.)
• Experience of maintaining data in excel, Pivot, V Look up
• Good working knowledge of MS Office
• Handle complex problems raised by client and provide solution
• Handle the client communication and client Reporting
• Excellent job organization and time management skills
• Attention to details and very good analytical skills;
• Good communication skills
• Interaction with Client daily via phone, chat and email, work on resolving HR related issues, cooperate with other delivery team members
• Flexible working in night shifts
