Mewhiz Services is seeking an experienced US Healthcare Recruiter to lead Travel Nursing recruitment for US healthcare clients. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, focusing on RN placements across multiple nursing specialties.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience sourcing, screening, negotiating, and onboarding RN, LPN/LVN and CNA candidates for US travel roles, coordinating with credentialing and compliance teams to ensure smooth onboarding.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced US Healthcare Recruiter with strong expertise in Travel Nursing recruitment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience recruiting Registered Nurses (RNs) across multiple specialties and managing the complete recruitment lifecycle for US healthcare clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end recruitment for US healthcare staffing requirements.
• Recruit primarily for Travel RN positions, including ICU, ER/ED, Med-Surg, Telemetry, PCU, OR, L&D, PACU, NICU, PICU, and other nursing specialties.
• Source and screen RN, LPN/LVN, and CNA candidates based on client requirements.
• Source candidates through Nexus, Indeed, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, Travel Nurse Source, referrals, and internal databases.
• Conduct initial screening covering clinical experience, licenses, certifications, location preferences, availability, and compensation.
• Explain travel assignments, pay packages, contract duration, shifts, and facility requirements to candidates.
• Handle rate/pay package negotiation and candidate closing.
• Submit qualified candidates against open requisitions and follow up through interview, offer, onboarding, and start.
• Coordinate with credentialing/compliance teams for licenses, certifications, background checks, and other onboarding documentation.
• Maintain candidate pipelines and follow up with nurses throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
• Work on ATS/VMS platforms and maintain accurate candidate/submission records.
• Meet defined targets for submissions, interviews, offers, placements, and starts.
