Job summary

BigRio seeks a detail-oriented US Background Check & Onboarding Coordinator to support our US staffing operations from India. You will coordinate background checks with third-party screening vendors and assist onboarding through MSP/VMS programs.

You will work with Beeline, Fieldglass, Magnit, and other client systems, ensuring timely starts and compliant, audit-ready records across US clients.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in US staffing, onboarding, compliance, or background-check coordination.
• Hands-on experience with background screening vendors or platforms.
• Exposure to MSP/VMS onboarding processes; familiarity with Magnit/Fieldglass/Beeline is preferred.
• Strong follow-up, documentation, tracker-management, and communication skills.
• Comfortable working US shift hours in a permanent remote role.
• High attention to detail with ability to manage multiple onboarding cases.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, track, and follow up on background checks for US candidates and consultants.
• Coordinate with screening vendors such as First Advantage (FADV), Checkr, Justifacts, and other client-approved providers.
• Track criminal checks, employment and education verifications, identity checks, address history, and references, as required.
• Follow up with candidates, vendors, recruiters, and internal teams for missing documents, pending verifications, or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate BGC and onboarding trackers; share regular status updates and escalation reports.
• Escalate discrepancies, delayed cases, and reports requiring review to the authorized compliance/HR team. This role does not make adjudication or adverse-action decisions.
• Support collection and validation of onboarding documents after background-check clearance.
• Work within client MSP/VMS programs and systems, including Magnit, Kelly Services, Hays, TAPFIN, Beeline, and SAP Fieldglass.
• Update candidate records, upload documents, and follow client SOPs, compliance matrices, and onboarding deadlines.
• Coordinate with recruiters, account managers, MSP contacts, and client teams to help ensure timely starts.
• Maintain confidential, audit-ready records in line with US client requirements and data-privacy practices.
