GBS Wireless India in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager / Senior Accountant to lead US accounting activities and ensure US GAAP compliance for US-based operations.

The role covers GL, AP, AR, month‑ and year‑end closings, payroll, intercompany accounting, audits, and reporting. Night shifts and on-site work in Banjara Hills are required. You will partner with US teams to ensure accurate, timely financial statements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands‑on US accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience with GL, AP, and AR processes.
• Payroll and intercompany accounting experience.
• Night shifts and WFO in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience in US Accounting and US GAAP and will be responsible for managing accounting activities while supporting US-based operations and teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting activities for US-based operations.
• Handle General Ledger, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and payments.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
• Handle payroll accounting and related activities.
• Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
• Provide support during internal and external audits.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with US-based teams.
• Independently manage assigned accounting processes and deadlines.

• 5+ years of hands‑on US Accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.

• Strong reconciliation and financial reporting skills.
• Experience in month‑end and year‑end closing.

• Experience with QuickBooks or other US accounting software/platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounting activities.
• US Accounting experience is mandatory.
• Candidates must be comfortable working night shifts.
• Work From Office in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad is mandatory.
