Accounting Manager | US Accounting | Noida

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager with strong hands-on experience in US Accounting and General Accounting Operations. The ideal candidate should have expertise in managing accounting operations, General Ledger, Month-End Close, Financial Reporting, reconciliations and accounting controls while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal policies. The role will also involve reviewing accounting work, managing stakeholders and driving process improvements across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations for US-based clients/entities.
• Review and oversee General Ledger activities, Journal Entries, Accruals, Prepayments and accounting adjustments.
• Lead Month-End, Quarter-End and Year-End Close activities.
• Review Bank, Balance Sheet and Intercompany Reconciliations.
• Review financial reports, supporting schedules and accounting analysis.
• Ensure accounting activities are performed accurately and within established deadlines.
• Support Fixed Asset Accounting and related reconciliations where applicable.
• Review accounting transactions and investigate significant variances or discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, accounting policies and internal controls.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required documentation.
• Manage communication with US-based clients, stakeholders and finance teams.
• Review team performance and provide guidance on accounting issues and complex transactions.
• Identify process gaps and implement improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Support standardization and documentation of accounting processes and SOPs.
• Ensure timely completion of deliverables and maintain high-quality accounting operations.

Key Software

NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, SAP, Oracle, BlackLine, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets; experience with other accounting or ERP systems will also be considered.

Accounting & Compliance Knowledge

US GAAP, General Accounting, General Ledger Accounting, Month-End Close, Financial Reporting, Journal Entries, Accrual Accounting, Bank Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Intercompany Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Internal Controls, Audit Documentation, Accounting Policies, Financial Analysis.

Qualifications & Skills

• Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CA, CPA, or candidates pursuing/progressing toward CA/CPA will be preferred.
• 6-10 years of relevant experience in US Accounting, General Accounting, Accounting Operations or Finance Operations.
• Strong hands-on experience with US accounting processes and US-based clients/entities.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial accounting principles.
• Proven experience managing Month-End and Year-End Close activities.
• Experience reviewing accounting work and managing accounting teams is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
• Strong stakeholder and client management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within strict deadlines.
